Barangaroo South Headland Project

Architectural Cladding Australia recently completed the supply and install of 260 meters of 3.0mm Corten Cassette Panels along the Barangaroo South terraced Bush Walk area. This amounts to a total of 971 custom made Corten panels produced in Melbourne and freighted to the site location in Sydney Harbour.

Barangaroo South is one of the largest commercial development projects in Sydney’s history and it features the complete transformation of a six-hectare disused shipping container yard into one of Western Sydney’s most stunning green headlands. The US-based landscape architect Peter Walker and Australia’s Johnson Pilton Walker (JPW) worked 6 years to develop the design that features over 6,500 sandstone blocks, 75,000 native plants, a six-storey high terraced lawn and an underground culture facility that is the largest cultural space Sydney has yet seen.
